Hello everyone! I’m Alex Kaplan, the founder of Mystics & Statistics. Like many sports fans, I fell in love with football at a very young age. As a kid, I always dreamed of playing in the NFL. Once I realized that was an unrealistic goal for me, I decided to chase the next best option—writing about everything football.

I created this website to interact with fellow NFL fans and talk about…well, anything! From fantasy football to sports betting to general NFL storylines, I will never run out of things to say about the NFL. My excellent team of writers and I aim to put out the type of content that you won’t see anywhere else. If there’s something you love that you don’t find here, let us know. Unlike Bill Belichick, we’re always open to suggestions that will make our team better (I’m a Patriots fan, I’m allowed to make that joke).
