New Orleans Saints @ New England Patriots (PK, O/U 39.5)
The New England Patriots (1-3) host the New Orleans Saints (2-2) this Sunday and are in desperate need of a win. The Pats got destroyed in Dallas last week 38-3, while New Orleans lost 26-9 against the Bucs. Both teams have struggled mightily on offense which would explain why the total is set so low. I lean under, but it is too low a number for me to play. My favorite bet from this game is Saints ML; the Pats defense is going to have problems after losing Matthew Judon and Christian Gonzalez to significant injuries last week.
New York Giants @ Miami Dolphins (Dolphins -12, O/U 47.5)
The Giants (1-3) head to Miami this Sunday to try to slow down the hot Miami Dolphins (3-1) offense. The G-Men have underperformed greatly so far this season, but the Fins are another tough test for them this week. Miami got blown out last week in Buffalo 48-20, while the Giants put together another embarrassing primetime effort, losing 24-3 to Seattle. This total has moved down 2.5 points for a reason – the Giants cannot score, and Saquon Barkley still is not a lock to return to the lineup this week. Give me under 47.5 points in this one.
Cincinatti Bengals @ Arizona Cardinals (Bengals –3, O/U 45)
The struggling Bengals (1-3) take on an Arizona Cardinals team (1-3) who has been much better than their record indicates. The Cincinatti offense has underperformed so far this season to say the least, but I think this line is an overreaction. Ja’Marr Chase, Tee Higgins, and Joe Mixon will give Joe Burrow the support he needs to get the win. They cannot afford to lose any more ground in the competitive AFC North division. Arizona has played well this season considering preseason expectations, but they do not have enough talent in the secondary to handle Chase and Higgins. Give me the Bengals –3 in a rout.
Philadelphia Eagles @ Los Angeles Rams (Eagles -4, O/U 50.5)
The undefeated Philadelphia Eagles (4-0) travel to SoFi Stadium this week to take on the LA Rams (2-2), who have star wide receiver Cooper Kupp returning from IR. The Eagles are coming off an overtime win over the Commanders, while the Rams beat the Colts last week 29-23. The Rams offense has been pretty strong so far this season and they are now adding a top-5 WR in the game back into the mix. I like them to upset Philly and give them their first loss of the season. Give me Rams +4 as well the ML.
Kansas City Chiefs @ Minnesota Vikings (Chiefs –3.5, O/U 52.5)
The Kansas City Chiefs (3-1) narrowly beat the Jets last week and travel to Minnesota this week to take on the Vikings (1-3), who got their first win over Carolina last week. Kansas City had looked like the reigning Super Bowl champs until the second half of last week where they sputtered and almost blew it against New York. Minnesota has underachieved but boasts a talented passing attack with the best wide receiver in the game, Justin Jefferson. Give me the Vikings +3.5 and on the ML, this line smells like bait for the Chiefs.
